Get Ready To Be Invaded! At first it may look like controlled chaos but the bulk of the equipment comes in rather quickly and just keeps coming. Set up moves quickly but must be precise and functional. Wires must be secured through the location, cameras set up, recorders tested, batteries checked. It can be a Pulse quickening experience for sure.
Setup typically takes about 1 hour to 1 ½ hours depending on the location.
Investigations are usually carried out during evening hours when the sun is down. This could even include an overnight visit depending on the client's wishes, the amount of evidence gathered or the level activity at the location. Daytime investigations are also welcome. It depends on what the client is most comfortable with or if their schedule does not allow for evening/night hours. SCPIR in almost every case investigates on Saturday nights. The Team will generally arrive 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to going "Lights Out". Once The Investigation begins Home Or Business Owners Will be given an assigned Team Member who will educate them while the first Team enters the location.
Please remember, we are not a freak show. The more people you invite to your home to watch an investigation the less likely it is we will be able to capture any evidence at all. If you wish to have a Paranormal Dinner Party Please Let Us Know, We Will be happy to come to dinner, mingle with your guests, share "Some" of our personal experiences and educate your guests to the best of our ability. And then we will conduct our investigation after the guests have left.
You are experiencing things in your home or business because your home or business is used and or lived in. This is the condition the home or business should be in when we arrive. Yes you can do the dishes, vacuum the rugs and tidy up if you wish. But Please do not change anything because we are coming. Your Spirit may see these changes and go into hiding.
SCPIR should be given access to every room in your home. If there is an area you are concerned about Please let us know and as a Team we will be sure the Home Or Business Owner accompanies us into that room or area. If we hear a noise in a closet, we may open it to see if something has fallen or if a spirit is trying to get our attention. We will not ever open a dresser drawer or any personal boxes in any area of the property.
If their are reports of beds moving or shaking our investigators may lay down on top of your covers to see if they can share your experience and document it on camera. We will never get under your covers.
None of our Team members will ever travel alone in your home. We work in teams of 2's or 3's. The only time a team member would be allowed to be alone is if they need to use your restroom facilities.
Most of our evidence isn't revealed until after we have left the premises and begun to review the recorded information. Many investigations can be long, boring and without experiences. So, in an effort to give the client the most precise, accurate evidence we can, we ask that clients Remember these things and try to act as if they are a "New Member Of The Team".
Once the evidence has been analyzed, a meeting is set up with the client to discuss the team's findings. If there are no findings the client may be notified by Telephone. Follow up investigations may be performed in cases where the evidence was inconclusive or corrupted. All return visits made by our team are at the discretion of the client. The client is also given copies of any and all evidence collected.
There is never a charge for an investigation. While we do appreciate cookies or a drink (No Alcohol) clients are never expected to pay for an investigation. *If by a clients request we incur additional expenses reimbursement is customary.
Privacy- We at SCPIR dedicated to the client’s right to privacy. If a client chooses to remain anonymous, our team will refrain from using their name and personal information on our website. All records, interviews, and personal information of the client will remain completely confidential and no photos, video or other evidence will be made public without written consent.

K-II EMF Detectors. SCPIR Currently Has 2 K-II Meters. K-II Meters Are Said To Detect The Low Level EMF's Thought To Be Given Off By "Spirits". SCPIR Has Had Some Very Interesting Results In Its Use Of These Meters.
TriField Meter Model 100XE. The TriField Meter has proven to be effective in the tracking of a spirit in motion. In Theory it is believed that while a spirit is in motion its energy changes from a DC current to an AC current. The 100XE is very sensitive to these changing currents.
